Family heirlooms
This is a photo of me, aged 4, on a beach back in Scotland not far from where I grew up, wearing my dads sunglasses. Theres nothing I loved more than exploring the rock-pools underwater wildlife, jumping from pool-to-pool trying to find the biggest crab I could see. In fact, in all honesty I still enjoy exploring the odd rock-pool as an adult now!
I love looking back at photos of my life growing up. Without these perfectly printed and forever ageing photos I believe that it would be incredibly difficult to remember the fun, laughter & love I experienced growing up. This is why I consider documenting your families growth to be of the upmost importance.

My style brings a beautiful, elegant and timeless aesthetic to family photography, through a combination of soft colours, beautiful light and elegant composition. I am inspired by families who want to simply laugh, love and savour every moment with the people who bring them the most joy in the world. I capture the stories and moments as they naturally unfold, just honest and real. I love what I do and I put my heart and soul into every session.
PHILOSOPHY
To me, each photograph is a key which unlocks a memory. They allow us to travel back to a moment in time, re-kindling the joy, love and happiness we very fondly remember.
My goal is to create images which unlock your family story. So you can travel back to a time when their feet were so incredibly small, or to pass on funny stories of potty training. Being able to connect you to your loved ones like this is the reason I do what I do.
The experience
Being a newborn & family photographer means a lot more to me than just taking & giving you photos. After all, this is your baby you are handing over to me - that's a big deal!
