They grow so fast in their first year, right?! Only a moment ago you were holding them in your arms welcoming them into the world and now they are sitting all on their own, smiling & giggling at the funny faces you pull, and learning how things work all by themselves. Your baby is growing at an astounding pace, every month bringing new and exciting developments.
My First Year sessions give a well needed moment of pause during your babies first year. It freezes their fast growth and captures their little, ever changing personality, which shines bright at this age. You can book this session at any point in your babies first year, between 3-12 months.

What happens during a 'My First Year' Photo Session?
During your childs 'My First Year' Session we focus on your little one. They will have grown and developed so much since they were born - so this session is designed to capture all of those new & amazing milestones.
Do you only take photos on the studio bed?
By default, yes. My First Year sessions take place in my cosy bedroom set up, inside my studio. Its a really fun way to create those relaxed, timeless photos of your baby's milestones.
What should I wear?
I have a small selection of outfits for your baby to wear during their session or you can bring your own outfit. I would recomend bringing a maximum of two outfits. This will give variation to your images and also not stress your little one out with too many changes.
What age should my baby be?
For this session your baby should be anywhere between 3 to 12 month old. Personally, my favourite milestone that my daughter went through was around 6-7 months. Just as she started to sit up on her own and happily explore the world around her - adorible! So if you've already captured your little one's newborn stage I highly recomend booking in for around that 6 month mark.
When will I see the images that are taken?
Once you have left the studio I will start uploading and editing the very best photographs from your session. After two - three weeks you will receive an email with a link to your private online gallery, where you'll see your digital images.
From your online Gallery, you will be able to like & share your photos with friends and family. You will easily be able to print your favourite photos via my print shop, linked to your gallery, so you can preserve the highest professional quality of your images for generations to come.
Can I buy just the un-edited digital files?
I believe the professional photographs I will make for you should be displayed with the best quality possible, this includes my professional editing service. I do not release un-edited digital files.
Following the high professional quality of my images, every photo you'll receive comes with the option to invest in printed photographs via my online print shop. Here, you will be able to print your images with the best professionals in Europe.
How many photographs do you take?
On the day of your photoshoot I will take photographs of you in different poses and outfits. You will then see aproximately of 10 beautifully edited images via your online gallery. From there you can easily print your favourites in a book, as loose photographs or frame them to hang somewhere special.
What is included in the price?
Everything - your time in the studio, my expertise as a family photographer, and 5 digital images from your online Gallery.
Do you work weekends?
Yes. Every second Saturday is avalible for you to book. If you are looking to book a weekend time, I highly recomend booking in advance as Saturady's are very popular and fill up fast.
